A smaller, better art collection — on purpose.

Our Story

artfables is a home for original paintings and limited edition prints, made by artists and collected by those who see art as more than decoration. Every piece exists in limited number and is never reissued once it's gone, so what you own stays genuinely rare. It's built for collectors — people drawn to the story behind a piece, the hand that made it, and the quiet weight of owning something few others ever will.

A woman in a black shirt and white pants stands beside a large abstract canvas painting with pink, black, and beige tones, holding the top edge of the artwork in a studio setting.

artfables started as a way to make good art more accessible. Along the way, we realised "accessible" and "disposable" had become the same thing in most of the market — endless open-edition prints, indistinguishable from one another, priced to be replaced.

So we changed course.

Today, artfables represents a small, deliberately curated group of artists working across painting, drawing, and print. Some show under their own names. Others work under a chosen name to keep their practice separate from other parts of their creative or professional lives — a long tradition in the art world, from street artists to studio painters who exhibit privately. In every case, the work you see is real, made by a real practicing artist, and represented honestly.

We don't publish open-ended runs. Originals are sold once. Editions are capped, numbered, and closed for good once they sell out. That scarcity isn't a marketing trick — it's the whole point. It's what lets each artist put real time into each piece, and what lets you own something that won't show up on ten thousand other walls.

What Makes Us Different

Four picture frames in different wood tones and finishes arranged on a light stone surface: black, dark brown, light natural wood, and white. White matting is visible inside the frames, with a small dried flower in the lower left corner.

Archival Materials

Our limited editions are produced using specialist fine-art printing, premium paper and carefully selected inks chosen to preserve the detail, colour and character of the original work.

Made with Consideration

We produce in controlled, limited runs and use thoughtfully selected materials and packaging to reduce unnecessary production and waste.

Signed, Numbered and Authenticated

Every limited edition is signed, individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Once an edition closes, it is never reissued.

Curated, Not Endless

We represent a deliberately small roster of artists. Every work is selected for its artistic point of view—not simply to fill another space in a catalogue.

Every collection deserves a guide.

Our curators bring years of experience in acquisitions, provenance, and private advisory to every recommendation they make — helping you look closer, ask better questions, and build a collection that reflects your own eye, not just the market's. Whether you're acquiring your first original or expanding a considered collection, they work alongside you, not above you.

Our Vision

At artFables, we think of art as more than just décor. It’s emotion. It's storytelling. It’s a chance to turn blank walls into bold statements — and to bring a little more beauty, colour, and character into everyday life.
